§1 General provisions
The administrator of the personal data of the customers of the bicycle rental company Rower Cruise is the company Bike Cruise, based at 5a Willowa Street, 82-120 Krynica Morska, NIP: 5782960164, REGON: 366229390.
The Administrator attaches particular importance to the protection of Customers' privacy and ensures the security of the personal data provided, in accordance with the applicable legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016. (RODO).

Contact with the Administrator is possible via:

§2 Principles of personal data processing
Customers' personal data is processed for:

  • booking and handling bike hire,
  • payment processing,
  • handling enquiries, complaints and contact,
  • to carry out marketing activities, including sending commercial information by electronic means, provided that the customer has given his or her consent.

The legal basis for processing personal data is:

  • the necessity of the processing for the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the RODO),
  • Customer's consent (Article 6(1)(a) RODO),
  • The Administrator's legitimate interest in direct marketing (Article 6(1)(f) RODO).

The provision of personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the use of the rental services.

§3 Scope of data processing
The Administrator processes the following personal data of Customers:

  • name,
  • e-mail address,
  • telephone number,
  • payment data (e.g. account number or transaction data),
  • identification data provided at the time of account registration or booking.

In the case of rentals requiring identity verification (e.g. longer term, security deposit), you may be required to show an identity document - but no copies are kept.

§4 Recipients of personal data
Customers' personal data may be transferred:

  • to entities handling electronic payments (e.g. Przelewy24, PayU),
  • IT and hosting providers,
  • to entities supporting customer service and marketing activities (e.g. newsletters).

Data is not transferred to third countries or international organisations.

§5 Data storage period
Customers' personal data is stored:

  • for the period necessary for the performance of the rental agreement,
  • in the case of data processed on the basis of consent, until its withdrawal,
  • in the case of data processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the Controller, to object.

After the above periods, the data will be deleted or anonymised.

§6 Customer rights
Every customer has the right to:

  • access to their personal data,
  • their rectification,
  • deletion ("right to be forgotten"),
  • limitation of processing,
  • data portability,
  • to object to the processing of data,
  • revoke consent at any time (without affecting the compatibility of the processing before revocation).

§7 Cookies
The Bike Cruise rental website uses cookies for:

  • to ensure the correct operation of the website,
  • analysing visitor statistics,
  • remembering user preferences,
  • to carry out marketing activities (e.g. remarketing, if applicable).

Cookies are small text files stored on the user's terminal device.

There are the following types of cookies:

  • essential - enabling the use of basic functions,
  • functional - remembering settings,
  • analytical - collecting statistical data,
  • marketing - enabling the display of advertisements tailored to the user.

The user can manage cookies via their browser settings. However, restricting their use may affect the operation of the website.

§8 Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Administrator reserves the right to amend this Policy. Amendments will be published on the website well in advance (at least 14 days before taking effect).
Use of the website after the changes have been implemented implies acceptance of the changes.

§9 Final provisions
In matters not covered by this Policy, the provisions of the RODO and other applicable provisions of Polish law shall apply.
